Decision processes in public and private organisations are characterised by a high level of complexity, uncertainty, and the need to consider different perspectives at the same time. Decision aiding systems based on multiple criteria provide powerful tools and techniques that can be used to better understand and formulate problems in these contexts. In this panel session, the personal visions of lecturers from several universities and business schools in Barcelona will enable us to discuss the current situation in this consolidated area, and present new trends in business and management applications.
Participants: Helena Ramalhinho (UPF); Miguel Angel Ariño (IESE); Francesc Miralles (La Salle, URL); Marc Le Menestrel (UPF); Esteve Almirall (ESADE,URL).
